Scroll up.

what argument? I said "will remain"....why don't you read again?

$319 is the distributor cost and is up to them to charge whatever margin to reseller base on market. At this moment, the supply is short on this item thats why you see higher street price thats all. How simple is that? Which part you don't understand?

Alright, clearly you don't understand my beef. I was referring to you saying, and I quote "How do you know I am not above that level?" and then saying "why should I?" when asked why you didn't already state that you were a reseller or apparently "above" that. I'm just saying that your acting a bit smug over something that doesn't affect the buyer. Yes, argue over the reseller purchasing price all you want, but that's not what this thread was about. Just leave it alone. We all realize now that there is no price drop, and that is what the question was.

I am not acting smug, different people asked and said different things. Isn't that clear??
apparently those posts were response to different post.

"I am above that" is refer to "listen to IPD"
"Why should I" is refer to someone said "why I didn't say that to begin with"
don't mix it up.
I am not trying to affect the buyer.
And which part again did I argue how much a reseller paid??

Scroll up again. $319 is distributor cost. apparently you misunderstood and thought thats the reseller cost I am talking about. You really should know what you talking about before you even started. Reseller buy from Distributor. Reseller is not a distributor. Thus which part makes you think I am arguing "reseller cost" ? I didn't even mention "reseller cost" at all.

Now when you say price list, you mean the price list that disti quoted you ?
This is the cost I saw and it was the cost list Intel gave to distributor like Ingram.
Ahh okay, that may be right actually. I was thinking $316, which is the tray pricing:

That's the sheet I'm referring to. $319 disty cost does make sense, based on the pricing I see from them.

That looks like a price sheet from a distributor.

Yeah hopefully the supply will lose up soon, right now disti and Intel are enjoying good profit on those.

Microcenter has OEM Q9450s in stock at $299.99 with realistic shipping.

While Microcenter doesn't have the best RR comments I've never had an issue with them in all of my purchases. I usually stick with Newegg when I can but this is a deal I couldn't pass up on currently hard to find CPU.
