1x ~ 5x
NB<--SB HT Speed
1x ~ 5x

they are all at 5x right now.
Sentry, I believe K8<->NB HT Speed controls the HT speed.

Good luck

Okay, I noticed after a while with me increasing the NB<->SB Reference Clock to 300+ that I wasnt needing to drop the HT Multi, so I started to ask questions.. I have found out that it is the CPU Frequency that needed to be bumped..

Okay well I am following this guide.. I have my CPU Frequency at 268 with 5x HT Multi. I fail post at 270 @ 5x, 4x ,3x... I have found this witch says this MB should be able to hit 312.. with a 4x.. also with a .2v increase to the chipset. So witch do I increase

S-Chipset/PCIE Voltage
+0.1V ~ +0.3V
CPU HT-Link Voltage
+0.1V ~ +0.3V
HT-Link Voltage
+0.1 ~ +0.3V
N-Chipset/PCIE Voltage
+0.1V ~ +0.3V

My "guess" is the "N-Chipset/PCIE Voltage"... but I am a n00b so I don't know anything..

*edit*
Well I have found that is it the "N-Chipset/PCIE Voltage", I increased it by 0.1v and was able to post at 270 with a 5x HT mutli

Sentry, make sure you start testing for stability with Orthos. Run the blend test at priority 9 for at least 5-6hrs. Can you post updated CPU-Z screenshots at 270HTT?

Good job btw

Just X the multiplier with FSB and thats your speed. Now you must increase vcore voltage, the guys know more about where this processor to be for 2.7 and stable. All thos bios settings are useless for you right now. The third thing you need to do is make sure your memory isn't OCing with your FSB ,, soo underclock the memory frequency to stock specs if not a bit less. GL,,,

Well, After a few hours of pushing my MB to limit I have got nothing..

CPU Frequency @ 268
PCIE Clock(SB) MHz @ 100MHz
NB<->SB Reference Clock @ Stock
PCIE Clock(NB) Mhz @ 100MHz
CPU Clock Ratio @ 5x

NB-->SB HT Speed @ 5x
NB<--SB HT Speed @ 5x
K8<->NB HT Width @ Up 16 / Down 16
NB<->SB HT Width @ Up 16 / Down 16

DRAM Config

tRRD @ 3
AsyncLat @ 5ns
tRC @ 26
tWR @ 6
tRWT @ 4
tWRT @ 3
tREF @ 3.9 us
Memory @ DRR2 400

I tried for about an hour to push it to 270.. but no luck.. I droped the K8<->NB HT Speed to 4 and 3.. still nothing even added a .2v to N-Chipset/PCIE Voltage.. the system just wont post. it is kinda nice having dual bio's that is for sure.

Why are u using NTunes? Use Nvidia System Tools i believe it is called. works a lot better than NTunes ever did. but u should really oc threw the bios as others have said.

If you run your cpu frequency to 210(fsb) a 5x multi (clock ratio) is fine.
Running from 210fsb-255fsb, set the multi to 4x.
Running over 255fsb, set the multi to 3x.

Okay, after I have found my max CPU speed 11x 226 = 2486 (runs about 8 MHz higher than that). it is about 286 MHz faster... Witch is dead on with my math for the max MB speed. I did need to drop my HT to 4x to make the system more stable.. Everytime I run ORTHOS I pass.... but that is on short times.. about 10mins per run. The guide should have done the math for you.. here is the math I came up with. "Looks Better in EXCEL"

Your Min CPU Muti * Max Increase = Total Change
5 * 68 = 340

Max Increase / Max CPU Multi = Max Total Change *Rounded down*
340 / 11 = 30

1 - (Your Min CPU Multi / Max CPU Multi) = Multi Change % *Rounded Up*
1-(5/11)= 0.55 = 55%

5% Buffer * Multi Change % = Buffer Increase Amount *Rounded Up*
5% * 55% = 3%

5% Buffer + Buffer Increase Amount = Buffer for CPU Multi
5% + 3% = 8%

Buffer for CPU Multi * Max Total Change = Buffer Zone *Rounded Up*
8% * 30 = 3

Max Total Change - Buffer Zone = Max Speed for CPU Muti
30 - 3 = 27

5x 68
6x 52
7x 44
8x 39
9x 34
10x 31
11x 27

... Witch is correct those are my max speeds for all the multis..

Time to start on the memory.. also I am not using Ntune or what ever any more.. it is all bio's.
