Which Aftermarket Cooler For CPU? - Page 2

Depends on the airflow in your case.

If you have a good amount of air flow continuous through your case, I would recommend the Zalman CNPS9700. Then again if you're willing to spend money for the 9700, you might as well skip the Tuniq Tower 120 and go with the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme.

Which can be found on:
Tankguys $59.99
Petra's Tech Shop $56.99
SVC $57.99

I'd go for PTS unless you message tankguys directly and maybe they can knock off a buck or two

just take the side vent off and it should fit

I have a 9500 and a TT120, and the TT120 is much better. Though reviews say the 9700 is within 3 cel of the TT120 at load, but the TT120 is cheaper

Get the tuniq, and just take the side vent off of your case so it will fit.

I have both. 9500 on a P4 3.2@3.6 1.525v and the tuniq 120 on my e6850 3.8@1.45. And what I see while folding, and prescotts are know to run hot, the 9500 keeps my p4 at 54c while folding. And the tuniq keeps my e6850 3.6@1.4 while folding at 54c. For me,I think the tt 120 should be keep my cpu cooler then the 9500.
Maybe after I lap the tt 120, I might get better temps. If the bracket takes the 9500,am going to switch to see if I get better temps. Never know till I try it.
