you'll get best results if you do a clean reboot before runnning the test.

I just picked up a G0 Q6600 and ran a 1:45 time at 3.6Ghz! Woot first place! I'll do a 3.85Ghz run and see where that gets me.

Congrats! You have that stable at that freq? If you really want a torture test, go check out QuickPi. Its optimized for multi-cores and allows you to set the number of digits at will, as well as algorithms unlike SuperPi. I just did a run of 1Bn points last night (careful, thats a 1GB file when its done).

Yep as far as I know. I don't like the temps much though when folding so I am folding under 3.6. Looks like I'm gunna have to do a lap job for CPU and HSF and then move to liquid eventually

1 min 40 with i7 920. this bench exits out of cmd as it finishes. had to run it 4 times to see the result as it insta-closes.
but yea, new record until the 965 guys come over.
