Windows XP Pro and RAID 0 With Nvidia Controller

Thread Starter
Alright, so I made a raid 0 setup using the Nvidia Raid Controller. Everything through the installation files of XP (blue cmd looking version) went fine. Got to the gui, shutdown the PC. Went to plug in a couple things that I left unplugged (sound, external hdd, mic) turned back on, and it says "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER". I am not sure what could be causing the problem. Help would be great please. Thank you.

It might pick up your external HDD as your booting device. Check BIOS settings.

Also, I generally install with ALL devices connected, so that I don't have any problems like this.

I thought that could have been the case too.
I did check BIOS, First device set to boot was the RAID setup. So I unplugged the external HDD, still did the same thing. Not really sure what is wrong.

I was told to try to do a new installation with nlite and add the drivers there. So now I am trying to make sure this will work too.
