connection issues with games

I was playing ffxi this morning fine then I went to get service on my jeep and when i came back I couldnt connect. The samething happens with cs:s, i can load the game buck cant get any servers. The internet is working fine meaning I can browse and download stuff. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so bored I want to go to sleep.

unplug your router+modem for 10 seconds, plug it back in

thats what usually fixes it for me

I have reset my modem 5 times already, forwarded all the games port and that didnt work then I took off the router and connected the modem directly and still not working. Also, I disabled anti virus and firewall and still no no.
