5800 Ultra Loudness

Thread Starter
I've read that it's very loud.

How loud is it really though? People never post the actual decibels or compare it to anything other than a leaf blower (Which is probably an exaggeration)

Yeah

I'm not planning to buy one, I'm just curious about how loud it is

I had a 6800 Ultra, I don't remember the sound being an issue at all.

I could only afford the FX 5200 for a while. Took like 4 months before I could buy the FX 5600.

Great card back then.

My 6600GT was a loud biatch louder than my 3850.
I do remember all Nvidia's cards being loud ass compared to ATi back then.
Ahh the good old days where you can buy a 9800PRO for $400, don't you just miss those times?
