single core overclocked or quad at factory?

Thread Starter
what's better for doing intensive 2D image editing using programs like photoshop CS to manipulate very large files. I have 2 systems both very stable with their current settings. One is a single core 1800 mhz CPU overclocked at 2400 with 4 gigs of 400 mhz ram and the other is a quad core phenom 9500 clocked at factory default 2200 with 4 gigs 800 mhz ram.

Photoshop CS is multithreaded. You get better performance with the quad at stock.
