Feels good...

:-)

Ran OCCT for 8 hours tonight on mixed mode and it's stable...

Thanks again, you were very helpfull...

If i get it correctly my memory is now working on 805.8 MHz?
Is that right? I have to multiply the thing in CPU Z by 2?

Only thing that's left is OCing my GPU now, and i dunno how to do it... But i guess this is not the place to ask?

If you used in the BIOS the DDR667 setting that it's @ around 800, if u used the 533 it's @ around 650.

You can use CPUz to see the exact value because as I said, it's simply too complicated to compute. Anyhow it is possible that in reality (cpuz reading) it's lower than what we computed here. Anyway, now if you want to optimize the ram speed you can start lowering the timings and test. It would give you some 5% if you manage to drop some of them.

Cheers!

You should use cpu-z as dragosmp suggested. Everest ultimate is another great program to see where everything is at.

Nice first OC, looks like you have a little more headroom, with some testing, and a better cooler.

It's set at DDR667.

Ok thanks...

I'm about to buy AC Freezer pro, so i might just push it a bit more...

From my experience it's difficult to raise it much more. If it's a G1 revision CPU you'll need a lot of Vcore, but if it's a G2 you will probably go over 3GHz. Too bad you don't have more Vcore headroom.

It's a rev.2...

What do i need to do in bios... I only found something to raise clock speed for the GPU... it's on 100 right now.
For the GPU leave it @100. It's the PCIe frequency, you don't wanna touch that. Above 110MHz it can corrupt data on the SATA HDDs (the speed of all the other components like sound card, sata, ethernet are linked to the PCIe speed). You won't see any gain in OCing that unless if you have maybe a 9800GX2.

I was talking about the voltage of the CPU, but if you have a G2 it's already better as it doesn't need that much extra Vcore anyway.

Did some more pushing with stock cooler and the same settings and got to 2.9 GHz.

Tested with OCCT for 4+ hours and was stable!
