These are old stuff but really interesting

Jeff Han gave a really good talk on this type of multi-touch interface at TED in 2006, check it out:

Pretty cool, except for the fact that AT&T likes to screw over independent dealers like my uncle. They already did this a few years back, offering buy outs to all the little guys. Now they want to buy out all the big guys. Lots of the larger independent dealers like my uncle are switching over to Verizon.

Wow Apple should hire those guys to write the next Mac vs PC commercial, since I've never seen somebody manipulate facts so badly.

People like that need to move out of their mom's basement and get their own house, where renovations can cost more than $10,000. The rest of the world doesn't enjoy the same $300 upgrade for vastly superior performance like we computer enthusiasts get.

And this isn't even marketed towards end users, its focused on businesses, where, as someone else mentioned, 10 grand is nothing compared to the increased business they will get for having an awesome piece of eye candy(or 20 if its a restaurant or something). I mean think about it, where would you rather go, IHOP, where you stare at your plain blue table, or a new restaurant where you can browse the net while you wait for your food? And the phone part, where they asked why not two phones, clearly isn't home use, but in a store. Wouldn't you like to be able to put two phones on a table and have a side by side comparison of their price and features, rather than being blatantly lied to by the greasy rat of a salesman?
