I think all virus has been deleted. If there is still a working virus then ESET should detect its incoming attacks. My only prob is it ruined some of my windows settings especially network settings. I already reconigured its Internet Protocol TCP/IP settings but didnt worked. It can detect lan connections, there is connection from the router to modem but when I run browser programs like IE and MFirefox, it cant load desired website. Any of you guys knows how to fix this?

...I love you...

Think of it in the way that I do.

That of a Zombie invasion.

Your a survivor in the city,correct? Zombies.EVERYWHERE.

The Virii are the zombies.

Are you going to hunt around trying to kill every zombie in every nook and cranny?

Or are you going to ball up, take a few losses, and blow a nuke up already?

BLOW YOUR NUKE,DAMMIT!

Did you manually change your IP???.....and reset all of your router settings and reconfigure it through telnet or using a browser like firefox.....if you don't know how to do it:
1.Open some Internet browser you use
2.type your IP address
3.the username and password should be known.....Its admin for both ID and passwd(Have i trespassed OCN'S rights???)
4.You see a router configuration page
5.You'll do the rest by yourself.its easy.

This all sounds too familiar, i have to remove viruses like this all the time and have only had to reformat 1 computer because they let the infection go too far before calling me. It's surprising that these people still use limewire to download even after being told to take the piece of ***** off.

Using a clean computer download these two programs:

Smitfraudfix
Winsockfix

copy them to a flash drive, start your screwed up computer in safe mofe and copy both files to your desktop. Run smitremfix first and then winsockfix.
Then you should check your internet explorer proxy settings turn any off that may have installed themselves.

let us know if this helps.

This should get you back onto the web to be able to update your virus defenitions but it would be better to download a manual update from esnet from a clean computer and scan in safe mode before restarting your computer.

if after doing all this you still have virus activity then it means that too many of your system files are infected and you won't have any choice but to reformat.

I only download from trusted sources. If I'm not ready to pay the money for the legit software then I really don't want it that bad and that alone keeps me from downloading it and potentially getting a virus.

Ancronis is what I use to make an image of my OS hard drive although I believe the developer was bought out and the name of the product may have changed.

An image of XP with all of my of my applications installed (except my games) configured fits nicely on my flash drive along with a copy of my motherboard BIOS. I runs a tight ship I does!

This are the new files installed in my Local Area Network and I cant remove them.
A quick google will show you that NWLink NetBios is a transport protocol. First link in google search is to a microsoft help page to installing it (Also anyone who does a fair bit of fiddling with networks should know this). All the clients, services and protocol's listed in your local area connection are legitimate ones at that. At least in name. If the virus has done something do them, either delete ones, modify etc there is no way to know.

I would guess it has not done anything to them at all and there is something else on your system preventing internet acess. Also the virus could of simply scrambled your network settings so that when you connect to the network your settings are such that no communication occurs.

Im suprised no-one else so far picked up on this point.

Have you tried the winsockfix that was posted a few up? This should fix your connection problems.
