Thread Starter
The system specs are given bellow in addition I have 5 usb controllers, 2 80mm fans, will buy 2 Scythe 63CFM S-FLEX 120mm Quiet FAN (SFF21F) with and for TRUE and Logisys 12" Dual CCFL Kit - BLUE (this is optional)

Earlier I have done 3.0Ghz but retuned back due to stock cooler, now I will try to get 3.2 with my new TRUE and will also OC my gfx

will my Zeb 500W will do the job?

I've never hard of that brand of PSU. Is it the gold, diamond or platinum series?

***EDIT***
It must be the Platinum series since it's the only one of their website that is rated at 500 watts. With 22 amps on a single 12 volt rail you're pushing it.

It should be ok, 'cause the 9600 has a fairly low power drain. You would be better off with a better 500w psu though.

Ha...Ha... I knew that it will be tough for u to gudge the psu, Ok I tell u, this company, Zebronics, though India based company, is much better than the local branded psu-s, and almost 85% the performance of CoolerMaster eXtreme 500w.
So, is it ok?

Also, what is the power consumption of 9600GT?
Thanks

26 amps on the 12 volt rail for a single card is what I'm reading.

I had a 450 watt PSU with only 18 amps on the 12 volt rail so wattage isn't all you should be looking at.
