OCing my 9600GT

Thread Starter
Ok, so I am using nTune to OC my card and the 174.74 drivers released yesterday. Currently at 701MHz core and 953MHz memory. Stock speeds were 650/900. First question, should I continue using nTune or should I be using Riva? Last question, can I overclock my shaders?

Much appreciated,
Vincent

ntune pretty much blows. Riva FTW.

Of course you can OC your shaders. In fact they OC automatically when you up your core speed, unless you unlink them specifically. No reason not to crank them up in any case, but that being said, usually it's best to unlink them (tweak them independently) because otherwise you're likely to limit your max core OC, which is the most important OC overall.
