Im running swiftech apogee gt

and my temps are also mid 60's when running prime95 same ambient temps as you
however when room temps are low 20's I get low 60's high 50's on prime95

so I think your temps are OK, also what rad are you using ?

until i get a new case, i am forced to use the a single 120 radiator.

when i buy the cosmos in a few months ill get a 240 radiator for my setup.

Im just trying to make sure before I leave it overnight for prime95, that it wont be to high of temperatures. Since I will stress test it afk for 8hours.

15minutes of prime95 and im already at 67-62c on all cores.

It's the radiator that's the source of the higher temps, as you've already surmised. A single 120mm radiator isn't even close to enough for a overclocked Q6600. A double 120mm (aka 240 or 120.2) is better, though it still won't be ideal, you'd need a triple rad for great temps Or just really loud fans on the dual 120mm rad...

I have the same Q6600 on a EVGA 680I. Multiplier at 9X FSB 1333 to make 3.0 Ghz. I upped my FSB to 1600 to make it 3.6ghz and it ran. I went into CS:S and started playign and ran for about 10 minutes then I got BSOD. I have my voltages on auto and everything else is stock. I'm wondering if there is a recommened Voltage that you ahve found to get stable 1600mhz FSB.

Do not use Auto, auto will take the vcore WAY higher than it needs to be.

I've heard it mentioned, but does anyone have a gonzo rig with a radiator from a chevy truck or something? A radiator the size of the rig itself?
