Rocketfish Side Panel design

Thread Starter
So I just like many others I got the rocketfish case at best buy on the cheap.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1183160363476

So my roommate has access to a laser machine at school so I'm trying to decide what I want cut in the side panel of the case as far as a window goes and such. If anyone has any ideas tell me, heres my basic one. Looking for something clean.

This is the case but its not mine. Was posted on here and I didn't feel like taking a picture.

That would be pretty cool You might want to have some sort of grill lasered into the graphic/text so that it retains some rigidity but other than that it looks AWESOME

Can I send my side panel?

I'd say just take the flame logo and let that be your window.

That is a nice case!

I can see what all the fuss is about.

If you are going to be lasering plastic, then you may need to do a little research. I can only speak on the characteristics of acrylic; extruded will not take lasering well, but cast acrylic will.

The extruded variety has a tendency to melt, and the lasering is almost transparent - a nice touch in some instances, but if you want the image or lettering to stand out then cast acrylic is your best bet.

I am only guessing, but the same may apply to other plastics as well.
