Anyone have the Samsung 2253LW?

Just looking at this - I need to stay around $270 to $280 tops. I found it for $280 shipped before $20 rebate at onsale.com. Specs look good but I cannot find any reviews or opinions of it.

Anyone?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...271&Tpk=2253LW

Others that I've been looking at:
Asus VW222U: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236028

Samsung 220WM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001261

and of course - good old Acer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009094

Any other ideas? I don't want a glossy screen so no HP w2207

There is virtually no opinionated info about this monitor that I can find. I found this one:

http://www.hdtvlounge.net/samsung/2053bw-2253lw/

But it's totally speculative and comes off more like a shill piece. I found one forum post where a guy says he bought one and "has no regrets" and that's it.

The specs are good and I'm tempted to just go for it. Although I'd hate to drop the cash and be disappointed. It is Samsung though and anything will be an upgrade from my CRT. It's 21.6" rather than 22" and that seems to be the only difference between this and the 2253BW. Strange...why make two models with only .4" difference in size.

What did you end up picking? I've been looking at the same list of monitors, and I'm leaning toward the 2253LW at the moment.

Its about the same as my monitor but .4 inches smaller lol. This monitor is beautiful, it is said that this was suppose to replace the best monitor out on the market today the 226bw. I love the magic bright and magic color settings, the intensity of the colors destroys the previous dell monitor I had. The only problem with these monitors which is probably prevailent in most monitors is that when you turn the brightness to 100 (you definitely won't because your whole room will light up like a huge blinding ray) and then you might see some bleeding at the top and bottom, but other than that a flawless monitor and slick looking too. To tell you the truth I would of gone for the 21.6 instead of the 22 inch, but I had to buy the monitor right away, I couldn't hurt my eyes anymore and now my wallet is crying.

I ended up with the 226BW actually. It was $249 after rebate through outpost.com so I went for it. If I had not I probably would have gotten the 2253LW.
