No but that does look bad ass...

I do love how this thread has gone so far off topic that it will be about cars next. I gotta go to sleep soon.

Yes you are 100% correct. I already said i am not looking to strive for the best computer. I had this computer for years, it shipped with windows98se and i was using windows98se, i finally upgraded ( Fresh install ) to Windows XP home Edition w/sp2, spent 100 dollars for the disc, and i bought this card:

I bought this card at bestbuy a few days for $137 dollars, yes overspent, but it was worth it. Well maybe not, if the card had temp checks and a 128 bus with 512VRAM, then maybe it would of been worth 137 dollars. But i rate this card 9/10 and it should of been 100 dollars.

I am buying 2 sticks of 512MB ram soon, to upgrade from 512MB to 1GB!

Second

These are my correct specs on my computer:
WindowsXP Home Edition SP2, Intel® Pentium III, 600MHZ, Intel(r) 82801AA Ac'97 Audio Controller/Intel(r) Intergrated Audio, 80GB Western Digital Internal HD, 500GB My Book Edition External HD, 512Megs of Ram, 90(Watts) PSU, Visiontek ATI Radeon 2400 HD Pro Edition 256MB DDR2 PCI edition
................................

3rd:

I am buying another computer soon, Vista and i will buy a powerful Geforce Card. I already know where to get a gateway computer with vista computer from, i'm buying one soon. It will be my secondary computer, to play those newer games or games which i cant run on this computer.

4th:

I'm not on a budget lolz. These are the things which i have bought for this computer:

Kept and working great

80GB WD Internal HD = 65 dollars.
3DFuzion 256MB FX5500 128Bit DDR PCI card, not using it anymore because i bought the 2400 HD Pro, but i am keeping it, its a great card. 84 dollar
500GB External My Book Edition = 129 dollars
256MB 2 sticks = 60 dollars total
DVD Writer/Burner = 50 dollars
VisionTek Ati Radeon DDR2 256MB 64bit 2400 Pro PCI edition = 137 dollars
...................

Bought & Got Rid of Wasted Money

FX5200 128 PCI card = 50 dollars
9250 Diamond Stealth 256MB PCI card = 79 dollars, not a bad card, but never really seen a good reason to keep it, yet alone buy it.
BFG Geforce 6200 PCI card = 117 Dollars OMG this card suck
EVGA Geforce 6200 PCI card = 74 dollars OMG This card also suck

Special Items that i bought, but don't use anymore

http://www.diamondmm.com/S60PCI64.php

OMG I played Halo with this card and it ran ok. How, well the diamond stealth version has a special catalyst 4.3 driver, and it enable Vertex and Pixel shaders 1.0 and hardware t&l on this card. I can not tell you how much fun i had this this card and it was my first buy too. No overheating, plus unlock hidden features with it. Fun times, i don't use it no more of course, but man this card was awesome. More powerful then some thought too

So as you can see, i wasted alot of money and bought some cool items.

The lastest game which i played using the 2400 HD Pro is Painkiller overdose, i can play this game at the highest settings and get good framerates, up to 32-40, i had to turn off AA tho.

My computer or PCI bus may not be the best and who cares, i can play what i have and thats it.
April Fool's was over 28 hours ago.. Not to sound rude or anything, but did it ever cross your mind to upgrade to AGP instead of continuously purchasing PCI graphics cards? The last PCI graphics card i purchased was a Voodoo 3 that came bundled with Half-Life. That was around 10 years ago, and I even knew then that it was outdated and I kicked myself for not upgrading to AGP.

I with you the best of luck with your new rig! Remember to go play all of your old games with all the eye candy turned up once you finally purchase it.

Rep for holding the record for most PCI graphics cards used in a single rig?!

PWN'D By a new user!

Im downloading The Painkiller Overdose Demo to bench it. I used to play it with great framerates with a Geforce FX5500 PCI card. So iM gonna do 1600x1200 MAXED to the brim with no SLI as my other card should be here in the next few days.

My daughter's boy friend brought his nice PC over the other day to hook it up so they could play on, it's a $600 15" LCD emachine Athlon 4800 with vista he bought not to long ago I open it up onboard graphics with 2 PCI slots, I didn't say anything but I thought to myself what a waste of money that was, he would of been better off to get a new $600 dollar laptop.
