He picked out the case, but I might convince him to get something else.

EDIT: I still need a hard drive lol and an optical drive, I'll probably have to drop down the CPU to a E6750 or something.
Ideas to save money for the disk drives:

E8200 Processor (if you can find one)
Get an ABIT IP35-E motherboard with MIR from Newegg: $60
Get some cheaper DDR2 800 since the new Ballistix aren't so hot anyway - single sided. You should be able to get some DDR2800 for $35-40.
Dropping down an inch on the LCD will save you $40-50. HANNS G 19' is $160 at the egg.
That should buy you a Seagate 250gb 7200 drive and a cheap dvd drive.
