E6750 2.66GHz 1333MHz OC - Page 3

I had an MSI Neo2 865PE Platinum that I used for over 4 years and I loved it. The Bios was VERY easy to manipulate and learn to OC on as well. Well Done

I've got the same board. I have yet to install it, but its got great reviews.

Plus its not as expensive as other equivalent P35 boards.

lock that PCi-e bus to 110 For best performance without killing it.

And run the divider at 1:1 to max out your cpu.

That wont do anything unless he has a 9600GT.

Lock it at 100

I suppose my next question after I install the new mobo would be, whats the ideal CPU cooling I should use? I don't want nothing to pricey, just something that will keep me running smoothly with 3.2 - 3.4Ghz

Well I went from my stock cooler (e6600) to a Zalman 9500A Led

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118223

made about a 5-7 degrees difference and allowed me to OC higher from 3.00 to 3.24 (keeping my highest load temp at 61 degrees)

And I have a nice little remote to control the fan speed so i can get it quiet when i goto sleep.
