Overclock became unstable

Thread Starter
I was running my E2140@3.2GHz and 1.416V and mems at stock speeds/latency

So, today I turned on the PC and tested with Prime95 again (last time it was 8h stable) and... Unstable before 2h testing! What the hell?

I'd say that it wasn't stable before, but it may be that you may have found it to be unstable had you run the stress test a little longer.

I'd say that you could either give your vcore a very tiny boost, up the memory voltage a tiny bit, or loosen the ram timings a little.

All I can say is.. wow, you went from 1.6GHz to 3.2GHz. That's a 1.8GHz jump!

Have you tweaked anything else since then?

Nope, I haven't
Anyway, I'll be getting an E2160 tomorrow. My aunt asked me to mount a new PC and I'll switch the processores, so I'll get 3.2GHz easier.
