Turns out i have a PartitionMagic 7.0 Install CD lying around... I'm looking at resize/move partition.

The 1024 cylinder thing concerns me, and i have no idea what it means. Should i be concerned about this, or should i just move the slider all the way over the unallocated space hit OK?

I just went on the site and it says that the 1024 cylinder boundary does not apply to windows XP... so I should be OK hitting the OK button?

Honestly you could of reformated and been well on your way to doing other things by now.

Don't see why people hate reformating so much.. it doesnt take that long :|

True, but when you format a hard disc doesnt it remove the OS too? you have to re-install XP i think.

I went ahead and moved the unallocated space onto the C drive. went over fine, and the C drive is now 298 gigs... sounds about right for a 320 gig HD

320 gig hard drive is only showing 127?
