Best CPU Temperature program?

Thread Starter
Hi All,

Just a quick one.

What does everyone recommend as the best program for finding your correct CPU temperature? For both pay-per-use and freeware?

Cheers.
Meh, good enough

JBG84, I found Everest and Coretemp to be very accurate. Speedfan has the least amount of accuracy in my opinion.

Hope this helps

I also prefer Core Temp. I'm not totaly convinced of it's accuracy in all cases, but the temps are certainly the most useful.
Everest Ultimate IMHO. I've used many different programs, Everest is always the best for me. I like the sidebar for Vista as well. Core temp is a good low resources one I suppose and I have used that in the past as well. Speedfan is good as long as you take the time required to configure everything properly, but who wants to do that? lol

1. Everest
2. CoreTemp
3. Speedfan

Everest has the best updates, it really tells me the correct temps for my quad core and my crossfire video cards on my newer mobo, others had guesses and problems indicating up to 127°C on my Phenom CPU. I think I would have seen a mushroom cloud at that temp.
