Okay I have decided between 2 memory options.

Both a G-SKILL

FIRST they need to be able to clock to
1144MHZ For me to hit 4.0GHZ stable.
My 6400 is 1033mhz

I can only hit 3.8ghz with this pc6400
And I need 4 gbs now for up and coming games
My pc will utilize 3.3gbs and I don't care about wasting 700MBS
So I am not paying all that cash for 64bit to use 700more mbs.

And most of my programs wont use 64bit. and no DUAL BOOT....

I am just asking a question I dont want to be told what i need.
sorry if that sounded mean But its the same thing when you guys push amd users about not buying intel lol.

anyways Let me know what you think will do me good. I want to be able to use this ram in the future for when the 9XXX's cpu's as dual cores come out if thats ever gonna happen lol.

I doubt either will clock that high. You can use a divider though, no?

The DDR2-800 and DDR2-1000 kits use the same IC's. They might hit DDR2-1140 with really loose timings, but I doubt it.

DDR2-1000 went back up to 150, and last week it was a steal at 95. Oh well ........

I have the DDR2-1000 and they top out at 540 max 2.2v. I currently run them at 500 5.5.5.15 at 2v which works perfect with 1600mhz FSB + CPU 3600.

Since price isn't an issue, get the PC8500's.

Most performance 800MHz will do 1200MHz. Or close to that, but definately over 1100MHz. I'd get a good set of cheaper 6400's and overclock.
