What is a good system temperature?

Since there is really no way to find out how hot the RAM is running, what is a good system temperature?

I just installed my rig into a P182 so I could keep the doors shut for sound issues, and I also installed a TRUE to help combat the heat.

Now, my CPU temps are great even at 1.1Ghz overclock, they never get above 46-47 under full load, but my system temperature is around 35-38. If I open the front door and take off the from grills, my cpu temps drop by like 3-5 degrees, but my system temp maybe drops 1-2 degrees.

Here are my temps and voltages, etc.

EDIT: I just noticed my sig doesn't display my case fans. I have 1 Loon in the upper hard drive cage and 1 Loon in the bottom from chamber as intakes. Then I have the 2xTri-cools at the back of the case blowing out and up, then of course the 2 fans on my TRUE.

I dont think the system temperature is AS important as the core temperatures of your chip. Ive never paid it much heed. As long as the temperatures of your cores stay under like 50-55C for 24/7 use, you should be good. If you're trying to optimize the temperatures, you might want to Make sure your airflow is good, with the direction the fans push/pull. Try to get it so air inflow equals air outflow. If you cant, try to have more inflow fans. Air will find its way out of the case somehow, and more cool air coming into the case is a good thing.

Hmm...everything looks fine except maybe for mobo temps. Mine never go over 5C above ambient. Just make sure that after 5+ hours it doesnt get any warmer than that (aka thats the hottest you'll ever catch it at)

My system temp is now hitting around 39-40degrees just after boot up. It doesn't get any higher than that, but it never gets any lower either.

I added a fan to the 5.25" bay to keep air from collecting in there, but I think it is making it worse. Come to think of it, I really don't have any cool air coming into the case, because the bottom fan is in its own chamber, the middle fan is blowing across the hard drives and the top fan is on the back side of the 5.25" bay and isn't at the front of the case.

I think I might have to move my hard drives down to the bottom chamber so middle intake fan is bringing in nothing but cool air. And I am going to get a spot cool to help cool the RAM area...I might need to get more power exhaust fans maybe. Current tri-cools are 79CFM on max.

Problem is my power supply cables are very hard to move around.

This is the power supply that I have.

Well I spent another 2 hours to rearrange stuff and dropped my system temperatures by 5C. Now it doesn't go above 35 with the case and all doors closed.

Had to take out the upper cage and move stuff around a good bit.
