So a USB DAC like the USB 0404 might be a option.

However the price will go up

How would u connect the O404 USB to the Corda Areitta ?
The 0404 has both a 3.5mm line out and dual 1/4" line outs. I've got a 3.5mm to RCA cable between my 0404 and Headfive right now, but I'm switching to 1/4" > RCA later on. More contact surface = better. =D

Also, it's really easy to switch between the X-Fi and the E-Mu, just have the E-Mu as the default sound device, and when you want to use the X-Fi, just turn off the E-Mu, and Windows will switch to the sound card. =D

The Zhalou would be better than the 0202, almost certainly. You guys really get jacked hard on prices.

And it's not RCA to RCA, I believe it's 1/4" to RCA... Aura will know more about that.

Yes, that is the correct cable.

I've heard in the past that running from the 1/4th outputs to the amp makes a very noticeable difference compared to the single 3.5mm output.

I haven't been to test this myself, since I do not have a desktop amp utilizing RCA inputs.
