DVI 24+5 and 24+1 backwards compatible??

Thread Starter
My 9800gtx card has 24+5 pin female and my Monitor has DVI 24+1 female.
What cable do I need?? Do I just get the 24+1 Pin Dvi cable? or will a 24+5 work on my monitor?

I would think that a 24+1 would work in a 24+5, the only thing is that all the pins aren't going to be filled in. but the picture should still go through.
If not then this is fairly cheap and it works for what your trying to do.

This is the best I could find

Use a regular DVI-D cable.
