E2160 Temperature Question - Page 4

Thread Starter
I have the same problem. Coretemp and Speedfan both say that my idle temps are 29-30C and HW Monitor says that its 44-45C. I think that coretemp is right because 45C seems a little high since I have a AC7 Pro and I am using stock voltage.

Your probably right. I know my idle temps cant be that high since my ambient temps are really cool.

On the P5N-E SLI HWMonitor confirms what the BIOS shows for my CPU and shows what the true core temp is (+15 degrees).

My temperatures however are terrible. 70+ degrees at load in HWMonitor and that's with two different aftermarket heatsinks so I'm not sure what the problem is. My TIM application is sounds but I'm going to do a reseat this weekend to check the surface of the CPU to verify that it's flat, concave or convex as well as seat a Ninja on it...much more powerful than my Asus V60.
