trouble with steam...

I have had some trouble trying to add gears of war to my steam games list. What i have been doing is clicking on add a non steam game. Then it brings up the applications folder. But GOW isnt in there. I know its on my comp cuz i have played it multiple times, yet it doesnt show up in my applications. So i decide to browse. I click on the c:/ section in my browse area, and then c:/Program Files (x86)/. then i click on the microsoft games folder. Inside there i find a GOW folder and click on it. Although all that shows up are different folders containg saved games, drivers and game engines...ect. The 4 folders inside the GOW folder are: Backup, binaries, engine, and WarGames.

I cant quite figure out how to add the game to steam, does some1 have any advice/ know how to do this.

shouldnt the game be in the applications folder?

Try browsing in your "My Documents" folder? I've had games install themselves into there before.

Go into Steam. Games tab > Add a non-steam game to My Games list.

Need to find the .exe file. Probably in WarGames?

Oh also, when in doubt about finding where the .exe file might be, right click the folder and just do a search for *.exe

I know some companies put them in some weird folders for some reason, never knew why.
