Okay I hit 530FSB finally Yup.

I just hope i'm not pushing it to hard
that would suck i like my OC and i'm gonna go for 3.8ghz now hopefully.

But i'm gonna stay under 1.55volts
Whats the max volts i should do i hear 1.55volts is fine anything after u need water cooling.

CURRENTLY

e6550 @ 3.7ghz 1.52volts 31c IDLE/ 51c LOAD
Corsair XMS2 Pc6400 @ 1060mhz 2.25 volts
Asus P5k-E P35 @ 530FSB 1.55volts 28c idle/ 34c LOAD

Original 2.33ghz NOW 3.70ghz

Now It is Stable but I want to know How far i can push it i'd rather not burn out my cpu I believe its a golden chip hahahaaha

pretty nice, my e6550 can do 3.7 as well but with 6-6-6-15 on ram. My 2x2gb's aint the best for gaming, gonna swap these into my HTPC soon and get some 1066mhz G.SKILLS very soon.

there's recommended voltage, safe voltage w/e you want.

Seen some people put the c2d's at 2.1volts, they die in a few months though.
1.5volts should last 1-3 years if used daily.
Stock voltage should last longer than 1.5 volts by 1-2 years wen ur on an oc like that.

These are merely guesses though

the 'lol' is on you my friend. You must not realize how much your statement speaks for your level of "experience".

*ps- I have run 1.52vcore @ 3.8ghz on my e6700 for just over two years now...still folding 24/7.
