Dude, thats visiontek issues, why would i lie about having a PCI card? I like PCI cards and they get the job done with my games. The PCI-E X16 Slot i have no clue to what that is, but i bought the card from bestbuy:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1203815034315

They finally have the card listed on thier site, even tho i bought it from the store.

Read this whole section:
http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic51437-26.html

My name on their is tha General and i was asking about the PCI-E slot thing.

ROFL It will take a hella long time for me to edit the information on that txt file, you cant be seriously right?

Is this what you wanted to see:

Well at the main menu screens, i always get good fps lol. At the loading screens i get 73fps, but drops down to 1 right before the game starts. Now at the beginning when we are dropping down to the island, it starts at 6fps, and when i turn on nightvision it goes up to 10fps, now when i am in the water its at 6-7fps, once i walked onto the island it goes up to 10fps, once i started walking around it jump to 18, as i got closer to the main part of the island, you know when the guy tells you to watch out and use your guns, it drops down to 13.

So i get around 6-18 maybe more dealing if i buy the real game with crysis, which is kinda bad. But hey i am just having fun testing out new games. Everything set on low at 800x600. But see the big issue is that the textures are not drawn in correctly, i can't see my weapon , or enemies. I will buy the real game soon and have some fun with it on this computer and look foward to enjoying the game on vista once i buy that computer.

FINALLY we have some proof! I believe you know but why would you waste over $100 on a HD2400 pci when you could of gotten a good cheap intel or semperon motherboard/CPU and a good PCI-E video card.

Yea my spending has been a bit out of place, only cards which have bought for this computer which was worth it was the Radeon 7000 and FX5500 and you know i was at bestbuy and i seen the card and i was like, hey this card might be gone soon, why not just buy it and i bought it. And overall its pretty good, the best card for my computer and the second best card out in PCI interface.

But i am buying Vista soon, a whole new secondary computer. And i will make sure to spend better. I am buying a Geforce Card

Peace

Gosh, that's good for your system.

Any plans on OC the CPU?

OC the CPU? I didn't even know you can do it. Even tho it sounds like fun, i'm not trying to fry it lol. Whatever games i cant play on this rig, i will just enjoy playing on my new computer soon. And btw, the only tool which i can use for this computer with this card is ATI tray, every other tool either gives me a blue screen of death or the program crashes.

Maybe its the card, who knows.

Ok from the 16 pages i've read I've come up with this:
1.Congrats, you have an old computer with XP. Now we need a screenshot with crysis running + CPUz, GPUz
2.The lower the resolution you run at the more CPU dependent it is, 600 mhz will NOT run crysis.
3.another one of my rigs with an amd 2.6 ghz x2 and 6600gt struggles to run Team Fortress 2 above 1300ish x 700ish, i tried running crysis on it and it cried.
4.I used to have a AMD duron 1.3 ghz with an agp 9250 pro and it would barely run Counter Strike Source at 800x600

bottom line
you still have showed no proof this happened(questions about this see #1)

I say the CPU-Z screenshots are a fake because when you take screenshots in Xp the mouse does NOT show. You can try it yourself and on all of your CPU-Z pics the mouse is there. And where are you icons on the right of the taskbar?

I'd like to second that motion!

However I do happen to see that you have provided a CPUz screenshot...okay, so we know that's your processor. But the Crysis screens, how do we know that you didn't just take them from somewhere else? I'm sure they're easily findable. Bottom line is that 600MHz is NOT enough CPU to run Crysis. I run the Crysis CPU benchmark on my rig, I get 25FPS for the CPU ONLY test. And that's 2 cores...count them 2!!! Running at 3.0GHz. You have ONE CORE running at a whopping 600MHz!!! There's absolutely no way because the lower resolutions are more CPU dependant than GPU. So I still call BS. Its VERY easy to do what we're asking, why are you dodging it?

Here, let me make this simple.
Open up FRAPS. Now open Crysis. Go to preferences, and uncheck Full Screen. Ok, now open CPUz and GPUz....now take a screenshot and post it for us! That's all I want to see...and I'll believe it. And NOT OF THE LOADING SCREEN...OF ACTUAL GAMEPLAY.

As for your video link of the 6200 playing it...okay I can believe that. It doesn't state what CPU he's running...but I'LL BET MONEY its higher than a 600MHz PIII. Crysis requires a 6800 graphics card...the 6200 is the same series, there are mods available to make it work on a lower card like that. But you STILL need the CPU power to do it.

If you can provide the simple proof that we're all wanting to see, then I will personally appologize for my comments. But so far you have NOT given the proper proof to show that you CAN in fact run Crysis.
