This guy has GOT to the biggest troll ever. I don't doubt that someone is able to do this. But i highly doubt someone who is this bad with computers can do this. Someone who things adding a gig of ram, and a better video card along with a soundcard will actually be able to max this out. No offense but this guy is joking. No one that dumb would even know how to find OCN let alone even go on it!

You know i had this computer since 99(from what i can remember), but i didn't actually start using it until early 2000. When i first bought this computer, it came with a integrated sound chip, integrated graphics 810/828 graphics controller, 64 ram stick, and a 90watts PSU. & Windows 98SE. I didn't start to upgrade until early 2003, and no i am not lying. I bought a DVD Combo Drive & a 128memory Stick from gateway in early 2003.

After that, couple weeks into 2003 i started to buy pc games. My first game i bought was Urban Chaos( GTA Killer ) from ebgames for 2.99, and then i bought like 20 more pc games. The reason i never looked into buying any video cards, well very simple: I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A GPU/VIDEO CARD WAS at that time, and no i am not lying. So i was using my integrated graphics for every game i own. Couple days later, i went over to the intel site and downloaded the lastest driver for my integrated chip. This help me play some of the games which i own.

So 2004 comes by, still didn't buy anything for my computer.

Early 2005, i finally found out what a Video card was and bought this one:

After buying this well i could play games better. GTA III was my first test, but it didn't fare too well, getting like 15fps. So i went to the intel site, download the intel application accelerator, use the 4.3 cataylst diamond drivers. And i got over 50fps playing GTA III. etc.

Anyways, early 2006, i bought the 9250. Early 2007, i bought the FX5200, FX5500, and the Geforce 6200 ( BFG ) and EVGA. Only one that work perfectly was the FX5500. I never thought about upgrading my PSU until mid 2007 and you know what i bought a 300PSU and i couldn't fit in my tower. So i have been using the 90watts PSU since 2000 and it still works perfectly.

2008, i upgraded from win98se to xp home edition, and i bought a soundcard, 512megs of ram, dvd writer, 2400 HD PRO, and highspeed USB port. And soon i plan to buy this:

The bottom line = I never thought about buying a more powerful computer until late last year. No lie. I'm not like other people, i mean i am happy with what i have been using with over the years. When i buy my secondary computer, i will make better choices.

I'm going to give it a try on my AMD Athlon XP 2800+ with integrated graphics (VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP)

Cookie for me if it actually gets to the game menu.

Great thread and funny! And yes, I'm also a "freak" like "$tillLegendaryU2K" because I'm still working on a Pentium III machine since 8 years. Ok, not for gaming (had only old games like Half-Life 1, NFS High Stakes, NFS Porsche...) but for half a year I decided to buy Half-Life 2 and I replaced my good old Matrox G200 with a 30€ Geforce 6200. And I was surprised that it works. Ok, not very good, so I started with overclocking and got mostly 15-20 fps.

After playing Half-Life 2 I bought NFS Underground 1 and 2 and the Orange Box. Ok NFSU2 ist mostly not playable (10 fps is not enough for racing) but NFSU1 works with 20-25 fps.

And I was stunning that I can play all the other Valve games too. Ok the Source-2007 games go down to 6 fps in some parts with too many objects. TF2 works with 6-20 fps and DirectX8.1-mode, everything on "Low".

Very funny is that this old Pentium III is still too fast for the Geforce 6200 so I have to reduce the resolution to 800x600. But I can work with 4xAA and 8xAF and everything "High" except the modell details on "Medium". Ok HDR is not working on this card but Bloom works. So this card is nearly perfect for my old computer.

And I will not buy a new computer in the near future because most time it runs for my wife who mostly only does e-mails and office things on this machine. Never change a running system.

(At work I sitting in front of a Pentium 4 2,6 GHz with WinXP and a Intel Mac with 2 QuadCore CPUs and I cannot say that the Mac is feeling such faster in office programms as the P4 or my old P3 at home.)
