pcie 2.0?

Thread Starter
I was thinking about upgrading my video card to a 9600 GT or possibly 8800 GT but was confused about PCI-Express 2.0. I know I have the older version of PCIe but I was wondering if I got a card that was 2.0 would it work in my system? If it does work would I see any performance loss?

Thanks

PCIE 2.0 is backwards compatible with the older version.

So it will work
