New to benchmarking

Thread Starter
So i downloaded 3dmark06

I came across the fact you need to have all test run in order to get a score. Mine was pretty low lol.

But I see allot for people post their scores ect.

This may sound dumb but are there any guidelines? For me I just 3d mark on default settings, and let my computer hack away at it and see what score I got.

Or do people play around with the settings of 3dmarks in order to get a better score?

You have the right idea there, just run it at default settings to compare with others. Leave the resolution and all settings at default. Don't forget to post your results here: http://www.overclock.net/benchmarkin...06-scores.html
