Furthermore, I think this decision of Creative makes them a bunch of wimps. Yeah, a lot of people are going to be happy, but it's only going to teach other programmers that they might be able to get away with stuff they were previously afraid to try.
Sigh. Creative has no real men working for them.
Finally someone who argues both side. Legally, Creative was right, they own their products and software as far as I know, making even a cent out of someone's software is a copyright violation. And in no way I'm giving away or breaking my ExtremeMusic in half, it works great, I do not have any issues under Vista, end of the story. And people going back to onboard just not to go with Creative, that's just stupid. Imagine that one day, Intel and AMD had a similiar problem, so what, you would go with VIA? Performance FTW!
