Thread Starter
Small question

XP Wouldnt make use of 4 cores would it

But vista 32bit would?

I'd get 64Bit vista, but aint there loads of differences with drivers/lots of things dont work?

thanks

Correct.

XP (the OS itself) doesn't use the cores well. Neither does Vista (uses it better though). Vista is better optimized for multi cores though.

Applications that can use more cores, will flawlessly in both XP or vista.

yeah, your o/s really wont make a difference how many cores you have. like realguy said, its the applications that utilize the cores.
