Um, okay. That was an interesting reply. (would you talk like this to my face? lol) Anyway, don't tell me. Tell the people who I learned it from: many of the other OCN members. I don't just pull this crap out of thin air.

Well, it's a little late for that now, isn't it?

Regardless of what anyone says, I can hear a big difference/improvement over the Audigy 2 ZS. And I'm not using Daniel_K's drivers with this card. I am using the drivers shipped with this card for WinXP.

Granted, I believe you that I could've gotten higher performance out of the Audigy 2 ZS, but like I say, it's a little too late for that now.

Wow, if you're only looking for the basic function, you'll absolutely love the Audigy 2 ZS. I know I did. I got it because I wanted the best, and that's what was the best when I bought it. I made many very high quality 24-bit recordings with it too. But I'm picky, so I got this card to replace it for my new rig. But if your Audigy 2 ZS comes with the CD, you're gonna have a 7-band Graphic EQ with several EQ Presets. As for the drivers, I'm gonna have to stop making comments about them to avoid unwanted comments from others.

Thread Starter
Alright i took out some old dial up unit which i had in one of the PCI slots, because i never did use it, just wasn't bother to remove it. Anyway, i put the soundcard in the first slot and kept the GPU card in the 3rd slot, and i also clean out inside of the tower, which i do every 6 months. My PSU was also dusty, so thats clean now. Anyway, everything has room to breathe lol.

Oh and btw, my 2400 HD pro card , looking at the temp of the card, its at 38'0c right now, it seems to stay very cool all the time, which is great!

Thanks/Peace

That definitely looks legit. And that's definitely the card used for the Audigy 2 ZS package. That's identical to the card that I have sitting in my retired sig rig. Every physical detail is the same. Good find!!!! Although, can it be bought from the US?

The only thing I personally wouldn't like (many people aren't as picky as I) is that it doesn't come with any software or drivers. But no worries there, because I still have the Audigy 2 ZS Installation and Applications CD, and I could certainly host it on the webspace my ISP provides for free download (548MB uncompressed. I haven't tried compressing it yet). It has nothing printed on it that refers to which OS it is for. But rest assured, I already know that it works perfectly in XP.

I was thinking of buying that But Didn't see a point in using it on a 2.1 speaker system with a 50watt sub.... did it make any true performance???
