It only affects some games, so i can switch back and forth to the soundblaster or my motherboard audio before i start the game.

Also, watching videos i have to watch them with my motherboard sound instead of the soundblaster. So the bottom line, i just have to switch back and forth, when playing certain games and watching videos. Which is not a big deal, just go to control panel , sound devices and there you go. I'm not going to update to the lastest drivers tho, just use the ones on the cd.

peace/thanks!
Maybe its because your system is underpowered for the job at hand?

My Dell laptop with a P3 800Mhz struggles with videos sometimes.

Now how do you know that's spyware? I remember running anti-spyware programs and finding things that it thought were spyware, and I'd have to say "no, I'm sorry program. That's not spyware."

Oh, ok. I kinda thought maybe I was gonna learn that I might have spyware. I mean, my computer runs wonderfully, so I don't do any scans. And I also don't really do anything with this computer, like myspace, p2p, etc. I stay away from places like that as I believe they could be a big source of spyware and viruses.

Sorry for bringing back this thread from the dead, but my soundcard is working much better now. It no longer struggles on my computer, and videos and games run super smooth. Seems like the problem was, all that extra stuff that ships with the disc. I just install the driver and nothing else, and everything is working better.

Now i can play games and hear super Q sound without the game slowing down.

If you still having trouble, just remove the drivers using drivers cleaner pro, remove the sound card, enter the soundcard back in, when it ask to install new drivers, just enter the cd in the drive and let it take care of the rest....
