Yeah I didn't mean a waste, waste, just a small waste (after all how much does a 2.2Ghz P4 take to run anyway? Probably less than 100W.

I can't sleep with them on though. They sound like vacuum cleaners.

I just started to fold on my old P3.2. That one makes less sound. It take long like 41 min @1%. Guess I have to overclock it a little more.

SMP client 5.91 Beta for windows. I get 12min@1% with my e8750 and 41 min @1% On my P3.2 478 socket.

My bad what program or have I got to do the math myself to see what SMP is doing performance wise?

if your running smp, have you downloaded fahmon, its a nice little tool to tell you what points your getting, what w/u you working on, etc. but to get your performance wise, all you have to do is look at the window and see how much time as passed between percentages.

Just added the flags -advmethods -forceasm to the one running in p4 and now am getting 30min @ 1%

Ctrl+B shows you the benchmarks too.
