Need help choosing a new PSU for a new system

Thread Starter
Looking for a new psu, I'm about to add another Asus EN9600GT video card in sli mode. Ive been using an old OCZ 520w psu with my new system, my specs are listed below. My question is what size psu should I get? 700w,
900w, 1000w? also what brand? and whats the difference between 12v rail single and 12v rail x4 and which would be better for me? Also I want a very stable psu not cheap crap.

You have to consider the brand and the reported wattage together when looking at power supplies. Some companies list the maximum peak wattage in a freezer in their model number while others may list actual sustainable wattage at real world temperatures. Also, don't forget to consider noise level as they vary greatly. To start you off, I suggest looking at Seasonic, PC&C, Silverstone, FSP (fortron) among others.

I agree, either get this or the Corsair 620W Psu, another one of very high quality.
