Use autoruns program for better gaming?

I setup a second hardware profile I labeled gamer as shown on blackviper site that I am able to select from on boot menu. However, there are still some 30 processes running as seen from task manager showing. Can I further customize gamer profile to somehow reduce these even more? If not, is it advised to use a program such as autoruns for this purpose? I have 3.2 gigs of memory on a 32bit xp system.

you can type "msconfig" into the run menu and go to start-up and disable services that will automatically start up with the computer

yes, but can I have different settings for both of my profiles? On menu you describe, I don't see a way to do this.
