Overclocking Problem (?)

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
Dunno what I did.

I used this guide
http://forum.overclockersonline.net/...tart=0&rid=101
to overclock my e6750 on my DFI LANPARTY DK P35

and i saved the settings and exited it.

when the computer restarted back on, everything plugged into the computer stopped working. while the computer itself was working, things plugged into the computer such as the monitor, mouse and keyboard stopped working and shut off.

so i have no idea what to do or how to get back to the bios so I can reset my processor to default settings

i tried restarting it, replugging in things, nothing has worked so far

halp =x

Try resetting CMOS.
Look in the manual to find out how to do this.
It usually involves taking out the battery and moving a jumper for between 10 seconds and 10 minutes and the moving the jumper back and reinstalling the battery.
BTW Welcome to OCN!

take out the battery on your mobo, that looks like a watch battery. Keep it out for about 30 seconds, and then insert it back in. Make sure the pc is off and the psu switch is on off. that will reset your bios to default.
