Or go with the $165 8800GTS 640 with the HR-03..
It's a leadtek, And the cooler is worth about $40, And the card comes with the stock cooler as well. Basically, I'm buying the card for $125, and a cooler for $40, installed.

The 8800 GT 512 is a better value at that price, the stock cooling does fine and the new chips destroy the old GTS 640's

I'm looking at one of the 9600GT's, single-slot, less power consumption. I've only got a 500W PSU and i don't want to push it. Although i have seen one of eVGA's 8800GTS's on sale at newegg for $145 (the 320-P2-N811-AR).

do not get the 320 or 640 meg cards as these are the old g80 units, you want a g92: 256 or 512mb

So.... what? Tell the guy "never mind, I lied. reopen your thread, I don't want your card."??

I don't think so...
Besides, I can sell it if I feel I need to
