My computer is ruined by Spyware and a virus

Thread Starter
For some reason Windows explorer will not stay open. When i attempt to relaunch it closes and reopens repetitively. I don't know why its doing this. Im to the point of re installing windows, but before I do that I want to save my files. I also tried opening it up in safe mode and the same thing happens. Can anyone help me? I do not want to reinstall windows right now.

Here is a Hijack this log.

OK. At work we use a GREAT free program called SUPERantispyware. This thing caught everything. we tried like 50 programs. SUPERantispyware was the BEST.

At home I use AVG free, and SUPERantispyware and NOTHING ever bothers me anymore.

Both are......................FREE

reinstall it on a different partition/drive and copy your old stuff over and scan only the stuff u want to keep off the old drive, might save time. and you would have a back up OS as well

don't go to sketchy sites and/or download unreputable stuff and you could live with just a firewall for a very long time and be just fine.

You can also get a free trail of Spyware Doctor, I found it to be very effective.

This would work well, but you might need to purchase a new drive to do it, but I would recommend this method, since its actually less work, and you gain full access to your files. Just don't copy anything you suspect might be infected, or you'll run into the same problem. Yes its an obvious statement but sometimes it just needs to be said.
