Lanparty P35 Question about memory

Thread Starter
I was messing around the bios to get a little inside about the motherboard and come across this part that I have included in the photos in the attachment, my question is I currently have it on 333/667 but I have Corsairs 1066 memory. Should I change it to 333/1066 or leave it the way it is? What does that option do anyways? Thanks!

First all boot up and ensure with CPUz that you memory is in fact running @ 667, I've never seen the memory clock setup quite like that so I'd be curious to see what the memory is running at. I assume it is running 667 but check to make sure. I would go ahead and try to bump it to the 1066 though it may be a good idea to run memtest86 on the memory before booting to make sure it's stable.

Yes. My HZs auto to 667 as well. I had to manually set to 333/800

Whats your mem voltage set to?

May need to bump it up if its on auto, auto is gen 1.8 on most boards, but check n see what yours is and add whats needed for your mem, prolly 2.0-2.1 to run at stock speeds.

That blue screen with white letters is a memory dump, which means your mem failed at that freq.

its 1066 so it should run at that. 4 sticks of ram + OC doesnt mix well either, you might wana try n pull two out and do some adjusting til you get it running well, and then pop the other two back in and see what you get..

Yeah right now I only use two of them... the thing is I just feel that I'm not using the full potential and power of those memory sticks... have a feel that they are simply running on lower speeds then they should?

Hello Everyone. Great thread!

I'm building a new rig and deciding on parts right now. I have my case (Antec 900) and my proc (E3110), and now I am looking to pull the trigger on a DFI LanParty DK P35-T2RS motherboard.

So next up is memory. I am planning to overclock my proc to 445 FSB so I get 4GHz on air. With that FSB, I am anticipating a 1:1 memory : FSB ratio, so I think I will need 1066 memory.

Am I mistaken? Thanks in advance...

Noob check out the DFI LP DK P35-T2RS thread and your questions will be answered when it comes to overclocking on the DFI P35's. Try changing these settings under the RAM part of your BIOS:

Enhance Data Trans: Fast
Enhance Adressing: Fast
T2 Dispatch: Disable

Under clock setting fine delay:
Channel 1 CLK Crossing Setting: More Aggressive
Channel 2 CLK Crossing Setting: More Aggressive
CH1CH2 Common CLK Crossing Setting: More Aggressive

Performance Level: 7 (this is prefered for a 333 strap which ur using. use lvl 6 for 266)
Under Phase Adjust: Auto for all

Next i gotta ask what your voltages are at for your ram, vcore, NB and VTT? Also this is the best info on the DFI P35's BIOS i've seen.

What's everyone's opinion on the DFI LT? Supposedly it delivers better power to the proc with a dgitial 8-phase pwm inatead of the DK's 4. Is that worth an extra $50 on newegg?
