Windows Vista business = More responsive ?

Hey guys.

I know that Windows Vista Business has less of the bloatware and ''Sexy'' features compared to HP and Ultimate but I have noticed that Vista Business is actually ALOT more responsive than the other versions of Vista. Yes it is sped up due having less....''Crap'' on it however I would not think those few removed features would make so much difference. Is Business different in any other way ?, I only assume it is as its aimed for the business market and therfore should be speedy.

Im just curious.

The only difference from Ultimate is that it doesn't have the media center, the other entertainment apps, and the add ins.
Once again...

My dad's office PC has Business on it. Single Core CPU. Only 1 Gig of ram, And onboard video. It's just as snappy as my home premium is with my dual core and 2 gigs of ram

So I would guess there is a difference, It just doesn't have as much crap running in the background.

But those apps shouldn't be running anyways. Try some objective performance benchmarks?

THis thread is the exact reason I did not buy Ultimate or Home Premium. I looked at the features and differences and in the end was not going to use the extras that either version gave me. Home was out of the question as far a networking and Ultimate for the way over the top price.

I to notice that mine a little faster than my buddy running almost the exact same setup but with Ultimate.
