Yeah, DFI Dark is great for OCing the Q6600. The ABIT IP35 Pro that I have is great as well.

From what I've read, the P35 boards are better at overclocking it, especially if you don't want SLI/DDR3/etc.

P965, P35, X38/X48

In that order of highest FSB to lowest... for stable OC's with a Q4. Most cases you will find that you will get a higher FSB and a lower stable vcore with each newer chipset release. However... the X38/X48 mobo's are more geared to running 45nm cpu's ... so paying the extra $$ might not be the best move, unless you are keeping the mobo to upgrade the cpu later.

DFI Infinty 965 - ~75$ supports Q4's and OC's as good or better than a P5B-dlx for the cpu's it supports

P5B-DLX 965 - ~100$ supports all current CPU's except 1600mhz FSB's.. although will OC beyond that easily.

DFI P35 Dark - ~150-170$ Supports all current cpu's except 1600mhz FSB's. Has better memory options and bandwidth than most other P35 mobo's.

I have heard that the BIOS of the DFI P35 is very complicated. Im a n00b to overclocking so im not sure if i should get it.

I am sure if you look hard enough you can find the settings people use. I have settings for 3.2, 3.4 and 3.6 (All Prime 95 stable) saved in my bios. If you get the board, I could take some pictures of my settings and post on here for you.
