Some believe that using IDE disks when raising the FSB by alot can help with stability compared to using a SATA drive. Whether this is actually the case or just force of habit by some is debateable.

Keep in mind that not only do the 9650's handle voltage better, but it is running at lower than -100C depending on where that particular motherboard and processor coldbug. Although it looks like in this case they are only running it at -80C... that board must not like cold.

Their new stuff isn't competing at all with that 5.7Ghz quad they have there....

If SLI scaled better we would see this happening with GX2's.

Put a GX2 up against an X2 and see who wins.
