Score, DUNC4N!

Wow, these replies are amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I saw a few recommendations for Hanns-G. Are they like the low-priced version of sammy's? Or what's their story? Are they like the brand few people know about, but are the best?

It looks to me like if I shop just at NewEgg, then the Sammy's are the best bet. I'm interested in the very best I can get for maybe less than... I don't know... maybe $315. It's gonna be a few months before I buy one. And I mean like mid-summer.

Not the best, but Acer is up there for me. I've had two of them, a 19" and this 22" WS. The 19" lasted me 2 years before I sold it and the guy I sold it to(bout half a year ago) hasn't came back to me pissed so it must still be kicking. I've had this 22" WS for about 9 months and it's doing me well, no problems.

Don't have much to say about Samsung other than, well, they're Samsung. Lol.

I've had the Viewsonic VX2025wm at 1680 x 1050 for about a year now and I'm well pleased with it.
