Look at the price vs the GTS 512, and look at the performance. Just about the same.

The 9800 GX2 is a much better upgrade.
No, the GX2 is yet another bull**** gimmick card that nvidia is screwing all the dimwits that buy it with.

If the 9800GTX had a higher memory bus/memory it would be something worth commenting on. But it doesn't so I wont.

I understand, I just was reinforcing my point that it is a memory issue, not a core issue. You are correct though, that to date the Ultra is still king at high-res.

G92 has 16 ROPs, while G80 GTX has 24 ROPS

Thats the main reason why G92 can't beat GTX

Just noticed it on Google Finance this morning.
Not only that but it was overvalued and due for a downward correction, but that was as of last october. Now they have been undervalued for half a year, which is nothing compared to the overvaluation that it had for the past 5 years. I'd day this is a temporary market correction. The stock will rebound by the end of the year and we will see some great product form them once again in the first quarter of 2009. They're down! now's a good time to buy!
