Well then thats too bad, you can't do much then, Crysis cannot be compared to those games, its like comparing apples and oranges. If you want your game to play smooth, lower the graphics settings, if you want it to look nice buy an intel, or turn up your res like sublime0 said.

OK. I didnt realize you are on G92. Thats hell of a lot of power for your x2 chip. best bet to solve this would to go and get a AMD Phenom.

I have an X2 6000+ in my rig as of now. I have ordered a QUAD-CORE "Phenom 9600" It will be here in 2 days. Im never going intl ever again. When i say Quad I mean Phenom!

I never once said INtel QUAD.

well the only thing i can see it being then is your PSU, obviously cant handle the cards under massive strain

Even with a quad your system would not be able to max the game with decent frames at all times.. unless your are at a lower resolution.. but you can't lower your resolution because your CPU bottlenecks then and results in bad performance still..

So bottomline is, deal with the frames you are getting... and comparing Crysis to FEAR, bioshock, and timeshift is dumb.. Crysis has way better graphics and its 100% real time shadows and lighting.

My sig rig cannot max crysis with smooth frames at all times.. So I doubt yours can.. no offense. You need 2x9800GX2 and a quad to max crysis with smooth frames...

If it is a CPU bottleneck, he could just get the new Phenom 9850 BE instead of switching to intel. A new psu would also help. It might not happen in your other games because they dont stress out your hardware like crysis does. Crysis is almost maxing out everything your GTS's can give and your PSU probably cant supply enough power.

because crysis is the most GPU dependant, once the cards draw too much power they throttle back I THINK

One thing to know.

CRYSIS runs like crap on anything. It just hogs and stresses everything. GPU/CPU/RAM/HD

i wasnt comparing crysis directly to any of the others, im talking; crysis went down in performance with SLI well everything else went up with SLI on
